Western Veil Nebula
$30.00Price
The Western Veil Nebula, also known as the Witch's Broom, is a segment of a supernova remnant still expanding at nearly 1 million miles per hour. The original supernova event occurred between 10,000 and 20,000 years ago, originating from a star 20 times more massive than our Sun. If the entire Veil Nebula complex were visible to the naked eye, it would span six times the diameter of the full moon. This celestial spectacle is artfully presented in HOO (Narrowband Image) with a total integration time of 14 hours and 40 minutes.
