Elephant Trunk Nebula

The Elephant’s Trunk Nebula is a captivating emissions nebula, home to exceptionally young stars, some less than 100,000 years old. The nebula's "trunk" extends over 20 light-years, while the entire nebula is located 2,400 light-years away in the Cepheus constellation. This stunning celestial vista is artfully presented in SHO (False Color Image) with over 7 hours and 45 minutes of exposure / 26 hours of exposure.
